Software Development Expert Required

Our client, a reputable software solutions provider, is seeking a skilled Software Development Expert to join their team. As a leading expert in the education sector, they have been delivering top-notch software solutions to esteemed schools and colleges throughout the UK for over two decades.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and support of our core product, SchoolBase, a comprehensive School Information System. This role will involve working across the full stack, from front-end to database, and will require expertise in C#.NET (core & framework) and ASP.NET MVC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using C#.NET and ASP.NET MVC
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and databases
  • Develop and implement efficient testing strategies to ensure software quality
  • Provide exceptional customer support and maintenance services

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on C#.NET and ASP.NET MVC
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and database management
  • Proficiency in Git version control and agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of £42,000 - £46,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays (increasing by 1 day per year to 38 days max)
