Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Our client, a leading M&E contractor, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the project delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, specification, and development of mechanical systems and components, including HVAC, piping, and other building services.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other building services.
  • Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant industry codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Monitor project costs, prepare budgets, and work to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering project management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and building services.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
