Business Operations Coordinator

At Abbott, we're committed to innovation and development, and our Global Centre of Excellence for Medical Devices in Witney, Oxfordshire, is a hub of activity. We're seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Business Support Administrator to join our manufacturing and R&D facility.
As a Business Support Administrator, you'll provide administrative support to our functional business area, directors, and management teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organizing travel arrangements for client area members, including visas, flights, and accommodation.
- Managing the diaries of directors and senior managers.
- Assisting with the compilation of organizational charts and job descriptions.
- Tracking documents for approval.
- Ensuring continuous process improvement, including scheduling and coordinating annual performance reviews, goals, and growth plan reviews.
- Deploying systems for tracking headcount to ensure staffing issues are managed monthly.
- Providing administrative support to the Division and wider ADC Witney site when required.
- Organizing meeting schedules and logistics for visitors and visiting teams.
- Organizing department events for goals alignment and reviews.
- Managing office facilities and distributing equipment for new starters.
- Ensuring all procurement responsibilities are carried out effectively and within budget.
- Compiling and coordinating departmental monthly meeting data and monthly Highlight reports.
- Managing expenses for the department.
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent attention to detail, a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing circumstances. You'll also need strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with colleagues across the business.
You'll spend time in the manufacturing facility, so you'll need to have or be able to develop good hands-on practical skills. Good IT skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, are also required for this role.
