Readiness Programme Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Tournament Operations Specialist to join our team at World Rugby. The successful candidate will be responsible for the research, planning, and facilitation of readiness and simulation exercises for the Women's RWC 2025 event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, plan, and facilitate readiness and simulation exercises for RWC 2025, including organising logistics and content for these sessions.
- Lead the delivery of exercises for both RWC 2025 workforce and external stakeholders, which will be both online and in-person.
- Pro-actively look for risks/gaps and work with Functional Areas and Partners as required to rectify and address these.
- Maintain the Operational Risk List in the Programme Management Tool (WeTrack Incident Management System) and keep it up to date.
Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering all elements of readiness activities including desktop scenarios and simulations, both online and in-person.
- Experience working on major events with a detailed understanding of operational requirements and challenges associated.
- Strong communication and excellent written skills.
- Well-developed presentation and facilitation skills with an ability to maintain engagement with a room full of stakeholders, both online and in person.
- Quick thinking, ability to think ahead and ask prompting questions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across a range of external stakeholders.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
