Job SummaryWe are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Todlaw, supporting 19 individuals who live in their own bungalows in the small town of Duns. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our service users, providing support with daily living tasks, medication administration, and maintaining their homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support with daily living tasks, including personal care, cooking, and household chores
- Administer medication as required
- Maintain the homes of service users, ensuring they are clean and safe
- Support service users with their finances and budgeting
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the well-being and safety of service users
- Reliable and honest with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Experience of working with people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health issues
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
