Job Title: Care Manager
Job Summary:
Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to lead our residential service in Reading. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, developing and implementing person-centered support plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the service, including supervising staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement person-centered support plans, taking into account the individual needs and goals of the people we support
- Conduct care needs assessments, recruit and induct new colleagues, and complete supervisions and appraisals
- Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met, including relevant notifications and adherence to policies and procedures
- Manage the service's P&L, ensuring financial stability and growth
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CQC registered manager or in a care management role
- Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration and a Level 5 in Health & Social Care
- Experience working with individuals with autism, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors
