We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate A&E General Nurse to join our team at Swaffham Community Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our outstanding NHS Trust.

About the Role

As an A&E General Nurse, you will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of care to a named group of patients. You will work proactively within the team to achieve unit and trust goals and objectives, promoting recognised policies, protocols, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritising individual needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve unit and trust goals.
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of kindness and respect.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register.
  • Experience of working with patients with multiple pathologies and developing and delivering care plans.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
