About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Management Director to lead our Product Management team at BlackLine. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving product design and strategy across our entire suite of solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Product Managers and work closely with product and engineering leadership to deliver functionality.
  • Manage the client-feedback process and ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product design.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to improve workflow and output.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI Design, Engineering, Tech Ops, Support, and Marketing to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide frequent updates and reporting on roadmap contents and progress.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Management leadership role at a modern software company (SaaS and/or Finance and Invoice-to-Cash preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of Product Management best practices and the ability to modify those approaches to suit BlackLine's unique challenges.
  • Knowledge of modern web application architecture and engineering patterns and practices.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with market and organizational elements of both SaaS and Enterprise-scale software businesses.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfort making decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to resolve tension, motivate a team, and mentor other Product Managers.
