We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technologist to join our client's team in Rotherham. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the cold end change team and assisting with sourcing spare part details and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in fault finding and repair of production and service equipment. Good knowledge of PLC systems and inverter drives is also essential.

Prior experience within glass manufacturing or FMCG maintenance is desirable, as well as experience with pneumatically operated machinery and welding.

Qualified to ONC/HNC standard or equivalent, the successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of electrical systems and good attention to detail.

This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £40,818, based on industry standards and local market rates.
