Pipefitter Specialist

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading fabrication business in Rotherham to recruit an experienced Pipefitter Specialist.

£32,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour working week and overtime paid at time and a half.

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Specialist to work with stainless and carbon steel pipes up to 16 inches in diameter. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical design drawings and specifications, assembling products according to drawing specifications, and maintaining safe use of fabrication and power equipment.

• Read and interpret technical design drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Work with stainless and carbon steel pipes up to 16 inches in diameter, utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
• Assemble products according to drawing specifications, adhering to quality control standards.
• Maintain safe use of fabrication and power equipment, including grinders, to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Minimum 5 years of welding experience, with a focus on pipe fitting and fabrication.
• Certified Pipefitter qualification, demonstrating expertise in industrial piping systems.
• Rigging and slinging experience advantageous, particularly in confined spaces.
• Forklift licence or experience preferred, enabling efficient material handling.
• Confined spaces training and certification required, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• RPE and BA experience beneficial, enhancing overall safety performance.
• Current driving license essential, facilitating nationwide travel as required.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm, with nationwide travel as required by the business. Accommodation and food will be provided while working away from home.
