Job Title: Surveyor - Cost Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surveyor - Cost Manager to join our team at Corepeople Recruitment. As a key member of our commercial division, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our QS team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from a commercial perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 5 QSs, providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance to support project delivery.
  • Lead on commercial aspects of projects, including contract administration, cost management, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project profitability.
  • Collaborate with the commercial director to develop and implement business plans.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, including JCT and NEC projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in commercial management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong contractual knowledge, including JCT and NEC projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results.
