Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our Virtual Ward Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a community setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of delegated clinical care duties, including recording patient observations, supporting remote monitoring, and carrying out limited clinical care duties. You will also act as a patient educator, providing information and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record patient observations and changes to clinical conditions
  • Support remote monitoring of patients using digital technology
  • Carry out limited clinical care duties
  • Act as a patient educator, providing information and support to patients and their families
  • Conduct clinical observations and assessments
  • Plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Requirements
  • Experience in undertaking delegated clinical care duties, such as blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring
  • Vocational Qualification Level 3 or equivalent
  • Completed relevant short courses, such as patient and clinical care duties
  • Good standard of general education, including GCSE English
