Job Overview

Hastings Direct, a leading digital insurance provider, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its team. This 12-month Fixed Term Contract role offers an attractive salary and a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and timely financial statements, including month-end consolidations and journal entries.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to finalize month-end results.
  • Lead monthly balance sheet reconciliations and provide insightful commentary.
  • Provide data to external auditors.
Requirements
  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize and comment on data.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Excellent reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
