This is a secondment/FTC 12 months, 35 hours per week, hybrid working of 2/3 days in the office. About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Technical Operations Analyst to provide day-to-day functional support for a portfolio of applications within the Oracle ERP suite. The successful candidate will work with other members of the application support team to develop and implement efficient application systems using established standards, procedures, and methodologies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Consulting with internal clients on business requirements to provide effective support and development.
  • Driving and leading the technical aspects of multiple projects/small enhancements within assigned area of Oracle ERP portfolio and related business applications.
  • Managing the implementation process for new releases of supported applications.
  • Providing proven experience supporting ERP Oracle modules, with the ability to support a minimum of 2 modules, or proven track record of working in systems-related environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive technical knowledge and experience in amending the Oracle vanilla product to company requirements, demonstrable extensive experience with SQL, workflow, Oracle ERP table structures, and demonstrable extensive knowledge of Oracle AIM methodology (MD50, MD70, BR100, etc.). Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, organisational, and team development skills are essential. Knowledge of the railway industry and its regulatory framework, good understanding of the IT system relationships within Network Rail, and understanding of key business processes and IT support processes are also required.
