Job Title: Visiting Examiner for GCE German A Level

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visiting Examiner to join our team at Pearson. As a Visiting Examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' performance in GCE German A Level examinations, ensuring the overall standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mark candidates' performance in accordance with published marking criteria and procedures.
  • Report any difficulties encountered during the assessment to Pearson.
  • Undertake an agreed allocation of local centres.
  • Submit written reports to the Chief Examiner and/or Team Leaders.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Be a qualified teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Have a high level of subject knowledge in German.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Be IT literate.
