Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Health and Lifestyle Coach to join our team in West Oxfordshire. As a key member of our health referral service, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exercise referral programmes to eligible adults, supporting them to become more physically active and gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to maintain and improve their physical activity levels.

You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, design bespoke programmes, and provide guidance on healthy lifestyle choices. Your focus will be on helping individuals make sustainable changes to their lifestyle, rather than achieving short-term results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exercise referral programmes to eligible adults
  • Assess client needs and design bespoke programmes
  • Provide guidance on healthy lifestyle choices
  • Monitor client progress and adjust programmes as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Fitness Instructor qualification
  • A Level 3 GP Referral qualification
  • Experience of delivering lifestyle interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
