Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineering Specialist to join our in-house design team at Archard Talent Limited.

Salary:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of up to £38,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

This role involves providing engineering support and managing projects for a diverse range of products within our portfolio. Key responsibilities include overseeing multiple ongoing projects, producing detailed designs, drawings, and part lists for production, collaborating with customers throughout the design and production phases, and developing documents like Operation and Maintenance manuals, Risk Assessment and Method Statements, and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop documents like Operation and Maintenance manuals, Risk Assessment and Method Statements, and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software
  • Ability to take a design from concept through to final manufactured product
  • Experience in thermoplastic structural design, sheet metal design, welded metal structures, and basic pneumatic systems
