Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out gas servicing, repairs, and installations in an efficient and effective manner. You will ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant policies and legislation, and that quality and quantity are achieved in all work. You will also be required to use electronic equipment to provide work updates, cover out-of-hours emergency call-outs, and maintain up-to-date knowledge on legislation and policy changes related to the gas environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

You will engage in regular 'tool box' chats to identify any training needs and actively participate in the annual appraisal process. You will also be familiar with responsibilities under the group's Health and Safety policies and procedures, and adhere to them at all times.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience of working as a gas engineer in the industry. You will also need to have a valid driving licence that is compliant with the requirements of Service Plus insurance policy, and proof of no prohibition notices, pending or historic, being logged with the HSE and Gas Safe in regards to previous employment.
