Paediatric Nurse Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Nurse Manager to provide face-to-face support to children and their families in the Essex area. This role will involve creating personalised care plans and working closely with a core team of carers to train and support them with clinical skills and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver tailored care plans specific to individual clients' needs
  • Effectively manage the multidisciplinary team through strong communication and teamwork
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and their families

Requirements:
  • RSCN with a minimum of 6 months' experience in the UK and an active NMC PIN
  • Supportive management style that can bring out the best in others
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years
  • Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and the MDT
  • Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs
  • Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not essential
