Job Title: Tax Partner Designate

TPF Recruitment is supporting a leading firm of chartered accountants in their search for a Tax Partner Designate to join their team in Gravesend, Kent. This role offers a unique opportunity for a tax professional to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax efficient strategies for clients, including personal and corporate tax planning.
  • Provide expert advice on complex UK and international tax issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with the Tax Partners and wider Partners to service a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, providing high-quality tax advice and support.
  • Oversee a team of junior tax staff, ensuring the quality of tax work is maintained to agreed standards.
  • Engage with local referrers and external third-parties to develop business opportunities and grow the firm's advisory services.
Requirements:
  • CTA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) with a proven track record in tax and a passion for working with clients in the public and third sector.
  • Experience of working in a client-facing role, with a strong ability to build relationships and generate fee-paying work.
  • Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio, with a focus on delivering high-quality tax advice and support.
  • Interest in building client relationships and developing business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
