About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting patient care on the wards and in the Pharmacy Department. As a Pharmacy Support Worker Higher Level, you will be involved in a range of tasks, including assisting with clinical, dispensary, and distribution services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of pharmacy services on the wards and in the Pharmacy Department.
  • Support patient care by assisting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy services.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of SCQF Level 6 education.
  • A commitment to completing an in-house, competency-based training program accredited by Edinburgh College within 12 months of starting.
  • Experience in healthcare or pharmacy is a bonus, but not essential.
