SEN Support Assistant Role

A specialist role is available in a large SEN secondary school situated in Greenwich. The school is seeking a strong, determined, and driven individual to work with Special Needs Students in a Mainstream Primary School setting.

The position has become available due to the school being given an EHCP for a year 2 student with ASD. The school will be looking to interview experienced individuals who have either worked with ASD or worked in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working with a year 2 SEN student with ASD on a 1-1 basis
  • Providing support to the student to develop socially and academically
  • Ensuring consistency in the student's daily routine

Requirements:
  • Passion for working with Special Needs Students
  • Experience working with ASD or in a school environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
