Job Title: Care Assistant
As a Care Assistant at our Abbot Care Home in Harlow, Essex, you will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support. Your dedication, reliability, and support will make a difference every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with mealtimes and personal care
- Completing current and appropriate documentation, including daily record keeping, charts, and care plans
- Engaging in meaningful activities with residents and promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect
What We Offer:
- Salary: £12.00 - £12.40 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
- 12 HOUR shifts from 8am - 8pm, Monday - Sunday. You must be able to work alternate weekends
- Part time and full time vacancies available
About the Role:
As a Care Assistant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, supporting residents with their daily needs and promoting their overall wellbeing. You will be working as part of a close-knit team, providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents.
Requirements:
- Experience in a care environment, either in a care home, as a home care worker, or caring for a loved one
- Ability to work alternate weekends and 12 HOUR shifts from 8am - 8pm
