About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our post-tensioning projects. If you have a background in structural monitoring and a technical approach, or experience in concrete bridges, we would like to hear from you.

Our client, ENGINEERINGUK, is a dynamic engineering and construction specialist working on the main civil engineering works at Hinkley Point C (HPC) worth over £2.8 billion. Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and convey specific construction information to clients, sub-contractors and internal stakeholders;
  • Review and secure approval on procedures, method statements, risk assessments and inspection test plans;
  • Analyse 3D models and drawings related to prestressing and monitoring components;
  • Ensure our Health and Safety culture is implemented, actively identify and eliminate hazards and risks through dedicated risk assessments;
  • Work with project teams/stakeholders to comply with environmental standards and rules set for the project;
  • Conduct regular surveillance and performance evaluation of subcontractor's works and provide feedback;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend innovative solutions;
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities with other stakeholders;
  • Oversee planning and development of the working sequence and implement the subcontractor's programme of works;
  • Develop alternative solutions to existing methods and practices to improve productivity, quality and/or safety;

  • Review of 3D Modelling
  • Leadership and guidance to technical professionals
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Stay up to date to Post-tensioning systems and structural monitoring state of the art
About the Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a company pension scheme, annual paid leave, and a company car allowance.

Somerset boasts beautiful English countryside, an attractive coastline, interesting towns and villages along with easy access to the M5, within proximity to the cities of Bristol, Taunton and Exeter.
