Multi Skilled Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at Warburtons, the UK's No. 1 Bakery Brand. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our automated production facility.
About the Role- Adhere to Health and Safety legislation, policy and standards, identifying any required actions.
- Drive improvements in asset reliability and reduce losses.
- Develop a maintenance approach for bakery equipment.
- Comply with quality and food safety legislation, company standards and specifications to meet professional and legal standards.
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, including bulk handling systems, processing and packaging, site services, and PLC control systems.
- Fault finding and rectifying issues through inputs and outputs, reading and acting on data.
- Working in close conjunction with production, safety, and hygiene teams to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Identifying and completing continuous improvement projects to increase plant efficiency, reduce downtime, and save energy and associated costs.
- Able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (Days and Nights working 6-6).
- Electrically biased Multi Skilled Engineer preferred.
- Understanding of PLC (ideally Allen Bradley) and control systems with the ability to fault find would be advantageous.
- Excellent route cause analysis skills.
- Engineering Qualification such as Apprenticeship, HNC, BTECH or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience of maintenance preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- H&S knowledge e.g. IOSH – able to ensure a safe working environment.
- Analyzing and problem-solving skills, anticipating problems before they occur and taking steps to deal with them.
