About the Role


We are seeking a Senior Wastewater Network Modeller to join our team in one of our Leeds, Edinburgh, or Newcastle offices. As a Principal Wastewater Network Modeller, you will work on exciting projects with major water companies across the UK and Ireland, contributing to innovative solutions that improve water quality and manage urban pollution.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead staff development through mentoring and guidance of junior colleagues.
  • Assist with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within our project frameworks.
  • Participate in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects.
  • Ensure project delivery through effective planning, coordination, and technical governance.
  • Report writing and preparation, and conduct presentations both in-house and to stakeholders.
  • Build industry relationships.


Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geography, or other relevant subject.
  2. Membership in an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM.
  3. Previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment.
  4. Technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities.
  5. Strong communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
  6. Staff development and project management skills.
  7. Knowledge of digital solutions and smart applications.
  8. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills.
  10. Attention to detail and accuracy.
