Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of an excellent clinical, operational, and governance-based medicine management service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of an excellent clinical, operational, and governance-based medicine management service.
  • Top up and distribute medicines to all areas of the hospital.
  • Stock management of medicines within the hospital.
  • Provide a dispensing service for medicines that may be required.
  • Procure and receipt medicines for the hospital.
Requirements
  • Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Completion of, registration for, or attending a General Pharmaceutical Council-accredited pharmacy assistant's course.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
  • Experience in ordering and dispensing medicines.
  • NVQ Level 2 is essential, or undertaking a Master of Pharmacy Degree Programme.
