Nurture Specialist

SEND Inclusion Support is a leading provider of inclusive educational services, dedicated to fostering a supportive and caring environment for students with SEND and Mental Health difficulties.
Job Title: Nurture MentorWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurture Mentor to join our team, working closely with students with SEND/SEMH to provide tailored support and promote their educational and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the learning and development of students with SEND/SEMH through individualised and group interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers and the SENDCo to implement effective strategies and interventions.
- Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to meet diverse needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and families.
- Promote positive behavior and emotional well-being in the classroom.
- Engage in professional development, when necessary, to enhance and build your skills and knowledge in SEND/SEMH.
- HLTA qualification or degree with experience in an educational setting.
- Experience working with students with SEND/SEMH needs is highly desired.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with SEND/SEMH and effective strategies to support them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
