Supporting Student Success: A Key Role in Education

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive School Attendance Officer to join our team on an interim basis. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in promoting and ensuring regular school attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and Track Attendance: Utilize the school system to monitor student attendance daily, identifying patterns of absenteeism and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with students, parents, staff, and outside agencies to address attendance issues and barriers to learning.
  • Proactive Support: Conduct home visits to support families and ensure students can attend school regularly, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with all stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative approach to attendance improvement.

Requirements:

  • DBS Update Service: A DBS on the update service would be an advantage.
