About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Projects Officer (Exhibitions) to join our Glasgow Life Museums team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the design process and collaborating with project teams to ensure the museum design development and delivery reflect input from community engagement activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the key liaison for design development and support project management.
  • Drive the design process and collaborate with project teams to ensure the museum design development and delivery reflect input from community engagement activity.
  • Work with in-house teams, external designers, and communities to promote an accessible and inclusive design that follows project objectives.
  • Support internal and external design teams to ensure project priorities are driving decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience working on design and build projects that include community engagement.
  • Project management experience, including contributing to the management of external contractors and actively inputting to project development.
  • Ability to work within a multi-discipline project team ensuring project priorities are driving decisions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering to diverse audiences.
