As a Technical Authority - RF and EW, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our portfolio and delivering against challenging objectives. Your expertise in RF and EW systems will be instrumental in driving innovation and growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical strategies for the portfolio, aligning with the Integrated Strategic Business Plan (ISBP)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues at senior management levels
  • Lead a team of Engineering Delivery Managers, System Design Authorities, and Product Owners to deliver quality outcomes for new and existing customers
  • Establish and track technical maturation and progress against requirements, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery

This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid and flexible working options. Some travel is involved, including visits to our ranges and collaboration with partner teams and companies.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing multiple multi-disciplinary teams across remote sites
  • Allocation, coordination, and maturation tracking of work within a portfolio of projects
  • Strong commercial awareness, including knowledge of how an IDT and portfolio contribute to the business and understanding of competitors
  • Experience in managing successful sub-contracts to time, cost, and quality
  • Delivering complex systems and products

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Science or Engineering, or an equivalent, nationally recognized professional qualification, with extensive on-the-job experience and growth of key skills
  • A full clean UK driving license
