Senior Safety Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Safety Engineer and take on a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE plans and philosophies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead safety workshops and participate in HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, and SIL workshops to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage and sign off on safety actions to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project safety and provide expert advice on HSE matters.
  • Lead UK projects as Project Discipline Leader (PDL) and ensure the timely issuance of deliverables to support project schedules.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in energy projects, particularly in oil and gas design.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams to produce high-quality deliverables on time.
  • Skilled in developing HSE plans and philosophies.
  • Experience with SIMOPS, ALARP demonstration, and safety cases.
  • Proficient in working on CDM and decommissioning projects.
  • Experienced in CCS projects and attending safety workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, ALARP).
  • Ability to conduct site surveys and engage with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in multinational FEED projects.
  • A collaborative team player eager to develop new skills and share knowledge.
Qualifications
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
