Job Overview

A Field Service Engineer is required to provide first-line service support for a range of communications equipment deployed within the Emergency Services customer base. The role will involve attending sites, ensuring compliance with local access, Health and Safety, or security rules, and restoring service as quickly and effectively as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attain SC & NPPV3 clearance
  • Experience in fault finding / fixing of mobile devices
  • Full, clean driving licence essential
  • Working within a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment
  • Experience in a support role in a fast-paced organisation
  • Strong knowledge of AD, Windows desktop/server operating systems
  • Knowledge of WSUS & WDS & SEPM
  • Strong PC applications skills/Experience of rolling out devices within strict deadlines
  • Working within a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment Hyper V and Cluster administration
  • Hardware test and Measurement
  • Windows 7 and 10
  • IP/Data Comms
  • Customer Facing Skills
  • Valid UK Driving licence
  • Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019
  • IP Networking
  • Cisco routers and switching
  • Information Security
  • ITIL
