The Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatry Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality foot care services to patients in Harrow.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans, promoting the health and wellbeing of patients with complex foot conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of podiatric theory and practice, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and managing your workload effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality foot care services to patients in Harrow, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of foot conditions
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Work closely with patients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that they receive person-centred care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to trust policies and procedures
  • Participate in continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in podiatry
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in podiatric medicine or a related field
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council (HPC)
  • Certificate in local anaesthesia
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
