Full-time Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-time Physiotherapist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing physical therapy services to patients who have impairments, function limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect an understanding of patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
- Revised treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
- Ensure complete, timely, and accurate documentation in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
- Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
- Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
- Complete additional department, organization, or network activities as established.
- Uphold the PCC Organizational Values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience for Advanced Clinician, 5 years for Clinical Specialist, and 10 years for Advanced Clinical Specialist.
- Licensed and in good standing as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
- Effective problem-solving skills for physical therapy evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning, and execution.
- Basic skills in teaching others and self-assessment of learning needs, strengths, and professional goals.
- Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Maintain a variable work schedule depending on hospital/program needs to provide patient care.
- Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
- Anticipate challenges and develop strategies for addressing them.
- High level of service delivery, with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
- Attention to detail.
