Product Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our client's manufacturing team. As a key member of the Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing product testing processes to ensure the reliability and quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance on products within a manufacturing environment
- Work closely with the Engineering department to develop and implement comprehensive test plans, protocols, and procedures
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to product functionality, reliability, and safety
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to identify and address potential defects or design flaws
- Ensure all test equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated
- Analyse test results and compile detailed reports for management and stakeholders
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality certifications
- Previous experience within a Technical Test Engineer role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of testing protocols, tools, and methodologies
- Electrical knowledge and experience will be advantageous
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in CE implementation will be advantageous
- Engineering biased qualification such as HNC / HND / BTEC / BEng would be advantageous but time-served engineering experience will also be considered
