Job Opportunity

Affinity Workforce is seeking a dedicated individual to provide general support for pupils with additional learning needs in East London. The role involves working with students who require social, emotional, and mental health support, with elements of Autism and learning difficulties.

This is a rewarding position that requires guiding the child's learning alongside the classroom teacher and SENCO. Most students require 1:1 support under the provision of an individual education plan, and you will help the child achieve their personalised academic, social, and emotional learning goals.

An ideal candidate will be:

  • Passionate about working with children and being creative
  • Confident in managing children's behaviour
  • Emotionally resilient
  • An approachable and friendly character
  • Aware or have experience of supporting children and adults with additional needs
