Primary Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join our team at a fantastic mainstream school in SN4. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and marking lessons to students in key stage 1, adhering to the UK curriculum.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and be able to identify and support students with special educational needs. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and other teachers to assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
As a Primary Teacher, you will also be involved in extra-curricular activities, break time duty, and parent-teacher conferences. We are looking for someone who is patient, positive, and able to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
About the SchoolOur school is located in the historic town of Royal Wootton Bassett and has 9 classes from Early Years to Year 6. We have high aspirations for our students and encourage them to be independent, yet team players. Our school has a provision for forest school, where you will have the opportunity to lead and support students in their learning.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and at least 3 years of experience teaching in a UK school setting. You must be passionate about delivering high-quality education and be able to put students' needs at the heart of all you do.
You will be supported in the classroom by a teaching assistant, who will look to you for guidance. We are looking for someone who is a confident leader and able to promote safeguarding guidelines.
