Welding Inspector

LJB & Co is seeking an experienced and highly skilled NDT Welding Inspector to join our team in North London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and interpret non-destructive tests involving rigorous inspection of welded structures, pipes, and other metal components.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule inspection activities.
• Perform pre-weld, in-process, and post-weld inspections to ensure compliance with quality, design, and industry requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate welding and testing equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of inspections.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an NDT Welding Inspector with a strong understanding of various NDT techniques.
• Experience in the data centre environment is a significant advantage, as is a background in Oil & Gas or petrochemical industries.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, welding symbols, and NDT codes/standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and present inspection findings.
