About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the first paid global export service for UK Sellers selling globally into the US Store. As a Global Selling Strategist, you will be responsible for working with a limited number of UK Sellers to help them grow their business on Amazon's US Store. You will offer support on using new programs, exploring Amazon's marketing tools, advising on account strategy, global logistics and global selection listing. You will also, if required, support recruitment and onboarding of Selling Partners onto this new service and act as their primary point of contact. Your work will be supported by a Premium Selling Partner Support Service, an Enforcement Process Specialist, Global Seller Onboarding and Retail Business Services to help address operational and technical issues. You will be responsible for identifying and building long-term relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the prospective accounts. Given the early stage of the program, you will also be responsible for providing feedback and developing processes, tools and content for this new service. You will be a key part of developing UK Global Selling's portfolio of Paid Services solutions alongside cross-functional teams and colleagues in the US, Europe and China.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and articulate compelling value propositions around our Paid Service programs.

• Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective Sellers for UK2US SAS based on a clear understanding of our Sellers and their needs.

• Manage a portfolio of Sellers concurrently and strategically to drive sustainable GMS growth, based on a strong understanding of marketplace programs, tools and processes and using our UK2US SAS Playbook.

• Analyse customer data and make recommendations based on our UK2US SAS Playbook in order to maximize the potential of the assigned Sellers.

• Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your Seller portfolio. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.

• Understand and utilize CRM tools, such as AMC, to track all pertinent account information and sales progress.

• Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective assigned portfolio.

• Develop a thorough understanding of the Amazon Marketplace 3rd party services industry, UK export macro environment, including knowledge of competing product offerings.

• Manage additional projects around our newly launched Paid Service such as process, tool and content development, competitive analysis, and sales analysis as needed.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in sales or account management, preferably in E-Commerce. You should have a proven ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level. You should also have a demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach. A passion for developing an engaging customer user experience with demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements is also essential. You should have superior communication and presentation skills and be able to thrive in an ambiguous environment. Experience delivering an Amazon paid account management service and using Astro, AMC and other Amazon tools would be a plus. Data proficiency and the ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment are also highly desirable.
