Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bioinformatics Specialist to join our team at the Francis Crick Institute. As a key member of our research group, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting large-scale imaging data to advance our understanding of cancer biology.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics, programming skills, and experience with image analysis software. You will be responsible for optimizing existing algorithms, developing new methods, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to drive innovation in cancer research.

The salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret large-scale imaging data to identify patterns and trends
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for image analysis and processing
  • Collaborate with researchers from various disciplines to integrate data and insights
  • Publish research findings in top-tier scientific journals
Requirements:
