Job Summary:

This role involves providing administrative support to the Doctoral College, with a focus on the administration of research students and the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administering key aspects of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme
  • Acting as clerk to designated meetings
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of administrative procedures for research students
  • Managing student records and admissions
  • Providing administrative support to the Director of the programme and the academic team

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and proactive individual with excellent administrative skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adaptably in a team setting
  • Good understanding of customer care and a polite, helpful telephone manner
  • Ability to collect, process and present complex data
  • Proven experience of working in Higher Education administration is desirable

Qualifications:

  • Education to A-level or equivalent education or proven professional work experience

Location: University of Hertfordshire
Salary: UH5 £27,181pa to £30,487pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience

Annual Leave: 25 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year
