Job Summary

Rotork is seeking an experienced Paint Inspector to validate our paint processes, conduct thorough inspections, and ensure our painted products meet Rotork's manufacturing instructions and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in corrosion, surface preparation, and coatings, with a strong understanding of NACE standards and regulations. The role involves conducting coating surveys, recommending corrective actions, and mentoring blasters and coaters on procedures and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform extensive plant coating surveys to ensure compliance with client and company procedures and specifications
  • Monitor the application of industrial coatings and assess conditions of internal and external coatings on various Actuators and Gear boxes
  • Recommend corrective actions to engineering for evaluation and implementation
  • Mentor blaster and coater personnel on procedures, equipment, and specifications

Requirements
  • NACE Level 1 or equivalent qualification
  • I.O.S.H. Qualification in Risk assessing (desirable)
