About This Role

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking an exceptional Plant Director to lead our operations and drive growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the plant's operations, including production, safety, quality control, maintenance, purchasing, and logistics.

As a leader, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production processes, compliance with legal requirements, and a safe working environment. You will also be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training personnel, as well as maintaining and improving the facility's physical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, safety, quality control, maintenance, purchasing, and logistics.
  • Lead the plant's daily operations, ensuring efficient production processes and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Recruit, hire, and train personnel to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Maintain and improve the facility's physical infrastructure to support efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, improve productivity, and enhance profitability.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Environmental Health and Safety, Supply Chain, and quality control, to ensure the smooth operation of the plant and alignment with corporate goals.
  • Optimize resources, drive lean projects, and develop best practices to improve KPIs and output quality.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth business acumen and knowledge of industry trends.
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills.
  • Technical and industry expertise, with experience in production optimization and lean manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
