Nursery Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team and deliver outstanding outcomes for children and families. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that meets the individual needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality childcare and education
• Recruit and manage a team of staff to meet statutory ratios and ensure contingency staffing
• Implement the nursery's Equal Opportunities Policy and ensure compliance with all applicable legislation
• Take responsibility for quality assurance and compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Exceptional leadership and management skills
• Full and relevant early years qualification (Level 3 or above) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the sector
• Level 2 Maths qualification or willingness to achieve within 2 years of starting the position
• Enhanced DBS check
