We are seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our team at Rocket Staffing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections and repairs of vehicles to meet DVSA standards, including MOT preparation and presentation.
- Diagnose faults using specialist diagnostic equipment and perform general mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Work on-site and off-site, including breakdown attendance, to ensure minimal downtime for our customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
- NVQ or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Background in commercial vehicle repairs and a high level of enthusiasm for the work.
- Excellent communication skills and basic knowledge of computers to complete relevant documentation.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Available overtime.
- On-site parking.
