We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our dynamic team at a reputable main dealer in Heathrow.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of heavy goods vehicles. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs.
  2. Carrying out preventative maintenance to reduce vehicle downtime.
  3. Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring all work meets DVSA standards.
  4. Collaborating with the workshop team to maintain an efficient and organized work environment.
  5. Providing excellent customer service, offering clear communication about repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Previous experience as an HGV Technician in a main dealer or similar environment.
  2. A Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
  3. A full UK driving license (Class 1 HGV License preferred).
