Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Control Specialist to join our team and contribute to impactful projects within the highways and transport sectors.

About the Position:

This role involves working in a dynamic team that contributes to sustainable economic development and facilitates project delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and providing input on highway matters associated with new planning applications
  • Engaging with Planning Officers, developers, consultants, and District Councils to facilitate effective communication
  • Providing expert advice on Highways Development Management (HDM), Transportation Assessments, Transportation Statements, and Travel Plans

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in highway development management and planning
  • Strong understanding of transportation assessments, transportation statements, and travel plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
