Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for eliminating overdue debt by implementing best practice and discipline around the collection of debt. This will involve ensuring compliance with company credit policy, contacting brokers and clients to collect payments, and liaising with the legal department where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective credit control procedures to minimize debt
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to ensure timely payment
  • Conduct regular reviews of credit accounts to identify potential issues
  • Work closely with the legal department to recover outstanding debt
  • Provide regular financial reports and analysis to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • Proven experience in credit and collections, preferably in a sales organization
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence both brokers and clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel
