Job Title: Supporting Young People Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our team at Qualiteach Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting young people with social and emotional mental health needs in a Secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students on a 1:1 or group basis across core subjects and vocational lessons
* Manage challenging behaviour and create safe learning environments for students with EHCPs
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff to set up and support lessons and activities
* Adapt lessons to cater to a variety of abilities

* Team Teach training or equivalent positive handling training
